In this blog post, I will be showing the images I took over spring break for my photoshoot. I had a really fun time doing this photoshoot because I got to incorporate my friends into school work and play golf which are my two favorite things to do. I like how the images came out and I think I have a clear idea of what image I will use for my magazine cover.

This is my favorite photo from the photoshoot because the sky looks very pretty and it is clear that my magazine will be about golf. The image is also very clear and I like the angle the photo was taken at. I set my phone up on the ground in order to take this photo.
This is a photo I took in jamaica on the driving range. I loved how vibrant the red came out and it is very clear and red shows strength which is what you need in golf.
I like the angle at that I took it and how bright the colors came out. The only problem I had with this image, is that it was slanted but I didn't realize that because when I was taking the photo, the sun was hitting my phone and I could barely see anything. I tried to shift the angle but it looked very zoomed in and odd. Other than the tilt I like the photo a lot but I think it would look weird on the magazine cover.
For this image, I set my phone up on the tripod and recorded a video so I could just take screenshots from the video, to get photos. I liked how this image turned out but the colors weren't as bright as I would like them to be.
For this image, I waited for my friend to hit the ball and I spammed the shutter button. This image had nice colors but the quality isn't too good and it throws the entire image off.
I ended up changing the angle I had first planned for this shot. I like the way this photo came out but I think there are too many objects in the background making it chaotic.
This image wasn't on my shot list but I decided last minute that I wanted to feature my golf coach in my magazine because he is the one that has brought me to where I am today. I propped up my phone on my tripod and told him to pose with me and we took the photo.
For this image, I placed my phone on the floor and tried to get it as straight as possible, but it was so difficult. I don't like how the colors look dull and how the angle is slanted so this was probably my least favorite photo I took.
In conclusion, I had a very fun time taking these photos. I like how I got to work with my friends while taking photos and playing golf at the same time. I would say the shot list helped me have an idea of which photos I will take. I had to take the photos on different days because I was taking the photos on different courses in two different countries, but I would say the shot list helped me stay organized. I think the photo shoot was successful and fun. I had a few challenges such as seeing my phone after taking the photo in the sun because when the sun hits the phone, it gets dark and hard to see so I couldn't tell if the image was vibrant, straight, or even clear. I solved these issues by going into a covered area after I took the image and seeing if the image was good enough, but it would still take a while for the phone to cool down, so for some images I didn't get to see them in time. The fact that the images came out clear and vibrant makes these images successful. I like how my photos came out and I am confident in my final selection for the magazine cover image which will be the first image I shared of me swinging the golf club while my phone was set up on the ground.
