This photoshoot was my Second genre photoshoot. The genre was sports, I based this off of one sport which was golf. I had so much fun taking these photos and I learned many new things about angles and shadows. I had many struggles such as, getting the shadows to not show up too much, getting the subjects in focus and keeping the objects still while taking the photos in windy conditions, it was even harder to keep everything still due to the fact that I was alone and no one was there to help me. Some successes I had were, getting the angles perfect and keeping the colors as vibrant on the photos as they were in real life.

I had difficulty taking this photo of the close up of the pink Callaway golf ball because the shadow was going to be there no matter which angle I was taking the photo from. I struggled with getting the shadow at an angle that didn't interfere with the overall photo. I like the photo because the clarity is great and the pink and green coloors are vibrant.
In this photo, I had difficulties holding the golf club up because I was alone and it was windy. It was a struggle to get the background blurred perfectly, but i would say I did a pretty good job. I love the angle this photo was taken at and how vibrant the colors came out on camera.
These are my favorite photos from my second genre pohotoshoot. I spammed the shutter button for the photos where my friend was swinging to hit the ball, and they were moving fast, so I would get to choose which photo I liked best from spamming the shutter button. Taking many photos of something moving fast helps with getting a better photo and having many options to choose from.
I had trouble capturing this U.S. Open sign on the golf course. The sun was setting, but the trees also came out very dark and if I tried to increase the brightness, the photo would look unrealistic. I had a short time to get the perfect shot because it was getting darker and darker by the second. I am proud of this photo I took, under these circumstances.
This photo was a bit of a struggle because
the ball wouldn't be focused, and the flag
wouldn't stay still because it was windy. Under
the conditions I had to capture this photo, I
am proud of what i took.
REFLECTION:
Doing this photoshoot helped me learn a lot about how shadows appear on the camera while taking the picture. My favorite angles to really compliment the grass, golf ball and club was definitely a low angle with a close up shot. The colors are very vibrant, which makes the photo look better quality. I believe I was pretty successful with taking close-ups and making the colors vibrant on the final result. I had to turn up the saturation to make the grass look greener and the ball clearer. Furthermore, I had a few weaknesses in this photoshoot that made the photoshoot more challenging such as; getting the background to blur properly without blurring the subject, finding more angles other than ensuring there is no shadow, making sure the background was bright enough and setting up each ball and club because they kept shaking, and I didn’t have anyone else to hold the club up for me. I learned many things while doing this photoshoot. Firstly, I learned that if I flip the camera upside down, I can get a better close up and the lens can be closer to the grass, being able to capture more grass and a better close up. Next, I learned to spam the shutter button helps take many pictures that I can choose from when trying to capture a photo of something moving fast. I had a lot of fun hile learning new things.
